All are welcome to join!
We practice the natural meditation as taught by Lama Surya Das (http://www.surya.org/ and http://www.dzogchen.org/).
Practitioners of any level of experience are welcome.
We sit for two sessions of about 20-25 minutes with a break in-between where we each takes turns reading a section from a book. Afterward, we have refreshments and hang out for a short time to talk.
Clicking here should take you to the map of the location. Elton Street is located between Atlantic and University Avenues about 2 blocks East of the intersection of South Goodman Street. Feel free to email or call for more information or directions.
A small optional donation of $5 is asked to help support Yoga With Estelle and to thank her for the use of her space. If you have your own favorite cushions, feel free to bring them. The studio has some cushions and blankets, but a limited supply. There are also chairs available. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us at rochester@dzogchen.org, or by phone at 585.288.6566. Mark you calendars! On August 7-8, 2009, we will be hosting Brendan Kennedy for a Friday night and Saturday one-day retreat. Brendan has taught meditation at Dzogchen Center retreats for the past 15 years and has a lively and direct style.
Hope you can come!
